&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Example:&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; Let&amp;#039;s say your big problem is &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;quot;Plan a surprise birthday party for your friend.&amp;quot;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; Using decomposition, you might break it down into smaller tasks like:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
* Make a guest list.&lt;br /&gt;
* Send out invitations.&lt;br /&gt;
* Choose a theme.&lt;br /&gt;
* Decorate the house.&lt;br /&gt;
* Order food and drinks.&lt;br /&gt;
* Buy a cake.&lt;br /&gt;
* Pick out a gift.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Each of these smaller tasks is much easier to manage than the giant &amp;quot;Plan a party&amp;quot; problem. Once you solve all the small parts, the big problem is solved!&lt;br /&gt;
