7.3 Network Topologies

Network topology describes how computers and other devices are connected in a network. Think of it as the layout or arrangement of roads in a city. Different layouts have different pros and cons for how traffic (data) flows. The way devices are connected affects how fast data can travel and how reliable the network is.
